I am able to offer night time support to new parents who just need to catch up on some more sleep or for mothers who are on their own/partner works away.

Night support can be really important to ensure the mother feels rested following the birth of her baby. I am able to ensure the baby is well looked after during the night. Ensuring the mum can sleep with piece of mind.

Things I might do at night:

  • Tend to the baby and to all its needs during the night

  • Bring the baby to you if you are breast feeding or would like to feed the baby its bottle

  • Change, wind and settle babies so that you can sleep

  • Replenish mother during feeds with drinks and snacks

  • Look after you and your baby/ies whilst you are staying in hospital

  • Sterilise and sort out feeding equipment ready for the morning

There are many options for you to consider depending on where you feel you need the help and support the most. I am able to help with the bedtime routine. Bathing the baby and getting it ready for bed. Giving the Mum some time to relax herself and enjoy dinner or her favourite TV programme in peace.

There are many reasons for parents wanting and needing night support. Please do not hesitate to get in touch and find out more.

She was extremely helpful during the nights, supporting us with settling and feeding and helping us both to get more rest. She also gave us tips to support with his sleep moving forward which have really helped.
